[Trouble Shooting] Unresponsive Third-Party Card Swiping on DNAKE S215 Door Station

Created by Global Support, Modified on Wed, 22 Apr at 3:01 PM by Global Support

1. Verify Card Frequency Band Compatibility

Check whether the third-party card frequency band is compatible with the S215 door station.

The supported frequency bands are:

  • IC Card: 13.56 MHz
  • ID Card: 125 kHz

2. Unsupported Frequency Band Behavior

If the third-party card does not operate within the supported frequency bands, the system will not respond to card swiping.

Normal Incompatibility Behavior:
No response during swiping is expected when the card frequency is neither 13.56 MHz (IC) nor 125 kHz (ID).

3. Supported Card but Still No Response

If the card is confirmed to be within the supported frequency range but swiping is still unresponsive or insensitive:

  • Verify again that the card is correctly identified as 13.56 MHz (IC) or 125 kHz (ID)
  • Check card placement and swiping distance
Next Step:
Please send the problematic third-party card to DNAKE for further analysis.
R&D Analysis:
DNAKE R&D team will perform professional testing and troubleshooting to evaluate card compatibility issues.
