1.Check network & power connections
Inspect all cables connected to the door station:
- Verify the Ethernet cable plugged into the PoE port is securely connected and not loose.
- Check the Ethernet cable connecting to the router/switch is firmly seated at both ends.
- Ensure the power supply (DC 12V or PoE) is stable and correctly wired.
2.Verify Human Body Induction in web interface
After confirming connections are normal:
- Log in to the S215 web interface (default account: admin, password: 123456).
- Go to the Access Control settings page and check if Human Body Induction is enabled.
- If disabled, turn it on and save the settings, then test if the screen activates when approached.

3.Reboot the device
If Human Body Induction is enabled but the screen still does not light up:
- Reboot the door station via the web interface (System → Reboot).
- Or reboot the door station via the device (press double # on the keypad → Admin: 123456 → Other → Reboot).
- Wait for the device to fully start up (about 1–2 minutes) and test again.
4.Contact DNAKE technical support
If the issue persists after reboot:
Collect the following information:
- Firmware version
- Video recording of the fault
- Device system logs and Packet
Submit the above materials to the DNAKE technical support team for further diagnosis.
