1.Issue Description
When S617 performs face recognition authentication to unlock the door: The device does detect and frame the face (face detection is working). However, it does NOT play the "Access Denied" alarm sound. It does NOT play the authentication success prompt sound. Overall behavior: no voice feedback and no door unlock action after recognition
2.Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1: Check Whether the Face Has Been Registered on the Device
- Enter the device User interface
2> Confirm whether the user's face has been registered: Local status and Cloud status
3> Also confirm whether the registered image displays correctly (no corruption, no errors, no blank image)
Purpose: Rule out issues caused by unregistered faces or abnormal registration data.
Step 2: Reset the Device and Re-sync Cloud Data
- Perform a reset on the device
- After resetting, re-sync data on the cloud platform
Purpose: Clear possible cached data that may interfere with the face recognition process
Step 3: Re-upload a Recent Photo Without Excessive Beauty Filters
- Re-upload the user's face photo via the APP or cloud platform
Photo requirements:Recently taken & No excessive beauty filters
Purpose: Prevent issues caused by a large discrepancy between the photo and the actual person, which may lead to abnormal recognition or failed authentication
